Jamis

What began as a modest regional distributor of imported European bicycles and parts in 1937, Jamis/GJC is now one of the oldest, largest bicycle companies under original family ownership in America.  2009 brought overhals of almost every Jamis mountain bike and road bike.  Led by a female president, Carine Joannou, Jamis takes pride in the manufacture of bikes for women. Niner was founded by Chris Sugai and Steve Domabidy, who met on a Wednesday night ride.  Based in North Hollywood, CA, Niner sells exclusively 29” mountain bikes.  Why 29”?  As Niner says, rather than riding IN the terrain, you’ll be riding ABOVE it, gaining more control and stability on even the roughest trails.
